INTRODUCTION

American TESOL Institute was established in 2002 by talented experts and professionals in Florida. American TESOL Institute began training teachers of English in 2004, and provides TESOL and Tech. certification courses.

MISSION AND VISION

American TESOL Institute (ATI) was incorporated in 2004 to meet the global demand for professionally trained English teachers, and provides TESOL Certification. American TESOL Institute's mission is the standardizing of an introductory English teacher training program for individuals wishing to teach English abroad.

TESOL COURSE

Certification courses provide a base knowledge in teaching English as a second language with focus on methods and approaches to TESOL. Choose a single or combination TESOL course to begin.

TESOL ADVANCED CERTIFICATION

TESOL Advanced online certification course provides a base knowledge in teaching English as a second language with focus on methods and approaches to TESOL which can be applied in a variety of teaching environments.

TESOL FOR CHILDREN CERTIFICATION

TESOL for children certification course focuses on teaching methods for age groups two through seventeen, and the different developmental stages of children. Instruction includes a variety of TESOL methodologies, classroom disciplinary methods, and which combination of methods work best in TESOL classrooms.

TESOL FOR BUSINESS CERTIFICATION

The TESOL teaching business English certification course focuses on a variety of TESOL methods geared towards teaching foreign business people.

COMBINATION COURSES

TESOL ADVANCED CERTIFICATION

TESOL Foundation program offers a general guide to TESOL with a focus on either teaching children or business English. TESOL Foundation includes two certification courses, TESOL Advanced, plus choose either TESOL for Children, or TESOL for Business.

TESOL EXPERT

TESOL Expert program offers a general guide to the theoretical approaches of English as a second language with focus on teaching children, adults, and professionals. The Expert program is three online certification courses combined, and includes TESOL Advanced, TESOL for Children, and TESOL for Business.

TESOL IN-CLASS PROGRAM

American TESOL In-class programs offered at Internexus.edu include online TESOL Advanced Certification, plus 5 days (40 hours) of hands on training where students participate in lectures, practice teaching presentations, and learn about teaching English abroad.
